Director
In the Director role, Jacob is responsible for leading client engagements, from initial scoping through final analysis and presentation, as well as supporting the development of junior staff. He also serves as Sterling's Training Director—organizing and optimizing Sterling's rigorous Associate training activities. (And he's Sterling's de facto social chair!) Jacob joined Sterling in 2015 after graduating from Vassar College with a degree in Biology.
What's been the most valuable development experience for you at Sterling?
“My entire experience with Sterling has been one of professional and personal growth, and I'm very grateful to those around me for helping facilitate that development. My intention out of college was to spend a couple years at Sterling (and in Cleveland) as a pit stop on my eventual journey to medical school. However, I quickly became engrossed in the fast-paced, dynamic, and rewarding project-based work environment. I never expected to have the growth opportunities that Sterling has presented (and continues to present)—in my time here, I've developed a wide range of soft and hard skills that have made me a better manager of projects and people. I truly value all the feedback I've received over the years, and I strive to help create a workplace that fosters and encourages growth for others.”
